Announcing Partnership with Humanitarian
& Development Consortium (HDC) in South Sudan

Posted Wednesday 25 July 2018 by Eva Wissenz.

We are very happy to start a new cooperation in South Sudan providing SOL5 units and educational trainings to HDC’s livelihood program.

Since its creation in 2008, Humanitarian & Development Consortium’s mission is to "support vulnerable people affected by crises to attain dignified and prosperous lives through impactful community resilience and practical, innovative programs." Their staff of more than 150 persons is on the front-lines of crisis and conflicts. They daily assist and empower the vulnerable populations through livelihood and vocational trainings.

In this project, GoSol is providing SOL5 units, hands on trainings, theoretical lessons and support with the incubation of solar bakeries and roasting production with the final goal to bring the technology into refugees camps. The goal of GoSol is to bring clean solar energy to vulnerable populations and at the same time create local wealth and empower small and medium entrepreneurs. For us, working with refugees is fully part of our mission.
